Grant’s remarkable story traces his fall from a successful New York lawyer to a prison sentence for a white-collar crime — and his rise to a life of recovery, ministry, and advocacy. After overcoming addiction to prescription opioids and serving time in Federal prison, Grant earned a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary, was ordained as a minister, and, with his wife Lynn Springer, co-founded the White Collar Support Group™ (prisonist.org), a ministry serving individuals prosecuted for white-collar crimes and their families.

Now reinstated as an attorney, Grant uses his practice, GrantLaw, PLLC (GrantLaw.com), to fight for people navigating the white-collar criminal justice system. He also co-founded a Federal Expungement Initiative (federalexpungement.org) , helping individuals clear their records and rebuild their lives.

At Bethesda, Grant will share his journey from prison to pulpit, discuss the mission of the White Collar Support Group, and offer insight into the upcoming White Collar Conference 2025, open to all, October 11 on Zoom (whitecollarconference.com).
