For more than four decades, Jeff Gianola has been a trusted presence in Oregon homes, first as an anchor at KATU for 15 years and later at KOIN for 27 years. Throughout his distinguished career, he has reported on nearly every major news event in the state, earning a reputation as one of Oregon’s most respected journalists.
Following the announcement of his retirement this past July, Gianola will sign off from the KOIN anchor desk for the final time on November 26. Join us on Saturday, December 13 at 2pm for a special conversation between Jeff and OHS Boyle Family Executive Director Kerry Tymchuk as they reflect on his remarkable career and the significant moments he has brought to viewers across the region.
