We will be participating in the Emmaus Halloween parade on Saturday October 19, 2024.
PARTICIPATION:
To be in the parade you MUST REGISTER using the link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/jeep-in-the-emmaus-halloween-parade-tickets-1004622211077 We are limited to only 20 Jeeps total. All Jeeps MUST be decorated. Sign-ups are taken first come first serve, once we have 20 total we are full, no exceptions. Please make sure you are 100% positive you are participating in the parade before registering so you don't take a spot away from someone else if you can't make it.
MEETING POINT:
We will meet in the South Mall parking lot near the Wendy's (3390 Lehigh St. Allentown) at 5:30PM. Please be in the parking lot of the south mall near the Wendy’s by 5:30PM. We will leave the parking lot no later than 5:45PM to drive to the staging area.
PARADE DETAILS:
The parade starts to get in formation at 6:00PM and the parade will start moving at 7:00PM.
RAIN DATE: If the weather is poor the parade may be postponed. The rain date is the next day, Sunday October 20th at 6:30PM, so meeting time at the South Mall would be moved back to 5:00PM.
CANDY:
Throwing or projecting anything, including candy, silly string, or coins, will not be tolerated. The handing out of candy is permitted but PLEASE DO NOT throw candy from floats or vehicles.
EMMAUS PARADE RULES AND REGULATIONS:
The following rules and regulations will be strictly enforced; anyone who violates these rules will face ejection and forfeit any prize money due them. NO drilling or exhibition of any type is permitted. NO Bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, scooters, or motorcycles, unless pulling a float. 3 and 4 wheelers are allowed ONLY if pulling a float. NO licensed vehicles unless fully decorated in a Halloween theme or pulling a float. NO open fires, fireworks, or alcoholic beverages. NO political advertising. Throwing or projecting anything, including candy, silly string, or coins, will not be tolerated. The handing out of candy is permitted but PLEASE DO NOT throw candy from floats or vehicles. A concession permit is required for anyone selling anything along the parade route, including outside sales by stores at fixed locations.

Participation in an event is solely at your own risk. By participating in the event you agree to hold Jeep Enthusiasts of Eastern PA harmless and release officers, and all volunteers from any and all liability. J.E.E.P. practices Tread Lightly principles and expects all attendees to do the same.
