📜 Meet Jeanette: A dynamic dancer from Ponferrada, Spain 🇪🇸, Jeanette proudly embraces her Cape Verdean 🇨🇻 roots from Lacacan, Fogo Island. With a deep passion for her cultural heritage, she shines in styles like Funaná, Kizomba, Semba, and Afro House. Since starting her dance journey in 2012, she has trained with renowned artists, including Antonio Bandeira, and achieved remarkable accolades, such as being the runner-up in the Kizomba Open Spain in 2015.
In 2016, she founded Kizomba Night Valencia, a vibrant hub for Kizomba lovers, and has since developed innovative teaching methodologies that celebrate cultural appreciation and personal growth. As she embarks on exciting new projects in 2024, including the monthly Chill Kizomba Spain event, Jeanette continues to be a leading force in the Kizomba scene.
