JDRF One Walk Kickoff

The JDRF One Walk Kickoff is a fun day for our T1D Community to come together and get excited about the Pittsburgh JDRF One Walk! Enjoy a day at the zoo with your community, and join JDRF at the PNC Pavilion so you can have lunch, meet other families, and learn about the JDRF One Walk!

• This event is for people that are new to the walk this year and our veteran walk families. When you come out to the Zoo, we encouage you to wear walk team shirts, JDRF attire, or the color blue!

• Please register for the Pittsburgh Walk (October, 2024 - Acrisure Stadium) before the walk kickoff at the zoo - walk.jdrf.org/pittsburgh.

• Families are free to enjoy the zoo at their leisure. JDRF Staff will be stationed at the PNC Pavilion from 10am-2pm. You can stop by anytime to say hello, check out walk resources, etc.

• We would like everyone to come to the PNC Pavilion at 12:00pm to get your free boxed lunch. At 12:30pm, we will have a short program to talk about the JDRF One Walk and host a fun, interactive opportunity for you to meet your fellow walkers!

Tickets - Discounted at $12/adult, $10/child, age 2 and under is free

*** If you have a season pass, you don't need to purchase a ticket from us. Please email your count to carling at [email protected]**

Includes: Admission to the zoo, boxed lunch and bottled water at the PNC Pavilion

Lunch Options: Ham/American on a bun, Turkey/Provolone on a bun, or uncrustable PB/J. Boxes also include apples, gogurt, and a bottled water.
