Award winning folk fusion duo JC and the Tree writes about the mountains to the sea and life between.Expect 2 cups of folk/rock, 1 cup singer-songwriter, a bit of indie/folk with a pinch of gypsy, roots and funk.
Featuring violin, vocal harmonies, keyboard and self hand-made acoustic guitars. This duo takes audiences on a journey through genres including folk-rock, singer-songwriter and rock with touches of gypsy and funk. Music is a language beyond words and JC and the Tree are inspired to use it as a tool to bring all walks of life together.
Previous festival appearances include Woodford, Airlie Beach festival, Caloundra music festival, Yackandandah Folk festival and many more while founding member JC has a rich touring history nationally and internally prior to founding JC & the Tree performing at festivals such as Glastonbury, WOMAD, Bluesfest, Splendour & Port Fairy.
