Hime Ikehara first graced our stage with the Victor Gonzalez group, where her lyrical piano improvisations evoked rapturous applause. She’s back with her own group featuring Earl Gordon on drums and Kevin Karagozian on bass, with a program of her original compositions as well as modern interpretations of classic jazz standards.
