To open the brand new season we’re excited to present Hans Jørgen Holtet on piano, Didrik Berg on double bass and Robin Aaberg on Violin.
Hans Jørgen Holtet is a young and promising jazz pianist from Bergen. With inspirations such as Bud Powell and Oscar Peterson, he has a deep understanding to the tradition. In addition to jazz, he plays church organ, and with this he draws elements from each of the respected styles, coming to expression in his music.
Didrik Berg is a well known stirdy and swingin double bassist from the Bergen scene. He has played with a lot of great jazz bands and artists and always creates a good atmosphere through his person and play.
Robin Garen Aaberg is a Norwegian traveling composer and establishing jazz-violinist, with a background in just about every available genre. Active in the Copenhagen, Prague and Warsaw music scene. Often composing new music while travelling.
