Footnotes is a father-daughter-led jazz ensemble that seamlessly blends saxophone, tap dance, piano, and upright bass into a dynamic conversation of rhythm and melody. Originally a duo exploring the interplay between sax and tap, the group evolved into a full-bodied band where movement is as integral as sound. Jazz Vespers in the Valley starts on select Sundays each month at 3:30pm.
Typically, our services last for an hour, and in Northwood fashion, we offer a time of fellowship over coffee, tea and home baked goods prior to Vespers.
The Jazz Vespers service provides a time where jazz meets the Spirit in a time of reflection and prayer. Free will donation
