Jazz Sauce are bringing New Orleans jazz to the big garden stage on Friday, September 25th. The band draws heavily from the early jazz tradition, legends like Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, King Oliver, and Sidney Bechet. They play amazing old standards with lots of room for improvisation and the characteristically loose, lively feel that made that music so fun in the first place.
Cameron McCracken Smith leads the band on vocals and cornet, with Darvel Martinez Chapman on double bass, Jumpin' Joe Wrigley on guitar and vocals, and Adam Lane holding down the drums.
Music starts around 7pm, so come early, settle into the garden, and make an evening of it.
