The Red Rose Jazz Project spotlights the works of influential women composers and lyricists across jazz history, with a diverse lineup of timeless classics and original compositions.
The Rose Gurls pay tribute to legends like Dorothy Fields, Mary Lou Williams, Peggy Lee, Abbey Lincoln, Lizz Wright, Carla Bley, Joni Mitchell, and many more.
Jean Lenke, project leader and an accomplished vocalist from the Olympic Peninsula, and Seattle saxophonist Tobi Stone will lead the performance alongside a talented group of Seattle regional musicians.
