Matt Niedbalski (Drums):
Matt Niedbalski is a musician and composer based in Upstate NY. His primary instrument is the drums and he finds himself mostly playing improvised music. some projects he is involved in include gnp, (a co-lead trio with pianist Tyler Giroux and bassist Dylan Perrillo), Charles Cornell, the Giroux Brothers, Dylan Perrillo Orchestra, and the Vin Mott Blues Band. Matt formed a trio with saxophonist Adam Siegel and bassist Jason Emmond that is often booked as the “Matt Niedbalski Trio”. Matt has been hosting a monthly concert series at The Park Theater in Glens Falls NY since 2022 and is featured on over a dozen recordings to date. in addition to performing and composing, Matt also mixes and masters recordings.

Steve Kirsty (Saxophone):
Born in Schenectady, NY; residing in Jersey City, NJ, Steven was born into a family of musicians & music teachers. He has performed throughout America, Spain, and Israel with numerous blues and jazz artists. Steven is also a saxophonist and piano tuner/technician. His playing is featured on albums such as Charles Cornell’s “Time Tales” & “Your Choice”, Nic Cacioppo’s “Time in Motion” & “Beginning to End”, and Vin Mott’s “Rogue Hunter” & “Country Blues”.
Jason Emmond (Bass):
Jason Emmond is an upright and electric bass player and composer residing in upstate New York. After growing up in New Hampshire and obtaining his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, Jason made the move to Kansas City to play jazz. Recently, he relocated to Albany, NY, where he is continuing his music career.
Jason keeps busy playing with a variety of talented musicians from New York City, Kansas City, upstate New York, and beyond. You can find him playing often with artist Eddie Moore and his band, We the People, who have backed up notable artists such as Andre Hayward, Chantae Cann and Andrew Bailie.
