FRIDAY, JULY 10TH
7 PM — Alden Hellmuth
Alden Hellmuth will be picking up Holidays Weekend 2. The Los Angeles-based saxophonist, composer, and improviser is one of the most exciting emerging voices in contemporary jazz. Equally at home in adventurous improvisation and deeply melodic storytelling, she has shared the stage with artists including Herbie Hancock, Dianne Reeves, Dezron Douglas, and Pablo Held. A recipient of the ASCAP Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award, Alden brings curiosity, energy, and a fearless musical spirit to everything she plays.
8:30 PM — Tikiman & Richard Akingbehin
Tikiman & Scion joins us for a special evening at Holidays. Paul St. Hilaire’s unmistakable voice helped define the sound of dub techno through his collaborations with Rhythm & Sound, while Scion have been a driving force within Berlin’s techno landscape for decades. Together they create music that is deep, spacious, and physical—built on hypnotic rhythms, powerful bass, and a sense of timeless immersion. Dub techno in its purest form. Richard Akingbehin is one of those people constantly connecting worlds through music. As a selector, curator and founder, his approach is always thoughtful, adventurous and deeply rooted in listening. We can’t wait to hear where he takes us on Friday night
10 PM — Eileen
Joining us this year is Eileen. As a DJ, curator, and organizer, she has become known for sets that unfold patiently and with purpose, blending groovy house, hypnotic acid textures, and the swing of ’90s tech house into something entirely her own. Whether behind the decks or through her Soft Ceremony series in Frankfurt, her focus is always on connection, atmosphere, and creating space for people to come together.
We’re looking forward to getting lost in the journey
12 AM — Aftershow Party: BRONKA LOVES FRANKFURT*
If you’re ready for more, BRONKA RUINING FRANKFURT takes over after the concerts. His sets are all gas, no brakes moving from baile funk to global bass and breakbeat. With one foot in local club culture and the other in international sounds, Bronka knows exactly how to put the pressure on the dancefloor.
SATURDAY, JULY 11TH
7 PM — Blair / Huber
We’re delighted to present BLAIR / HUBER. Saxophonist Darius Blair and guitarist Niko Huber have been making music together since their teenage years, developing a musical connection that feels effortless. Their duo balances virtuosity and vulnerability, moving seamlessly between jazz, improvisation, and contemporary songwriting while leaving plenty of room for surprise.
A conversation between two remarkable musicians—we can’t wait to hear where it goes!
8:30 PM — Herbert & Momoko (presented by soulsearching)
Matthew & Momoko join us through our friends at soulsearching. Gill’s work as a drummer, producer, songwriter, and singer has earned her collaborations with artists including Tirzah, Alabaster DePlume, and Matthew Herbert himself, while Herbert has spent decades reshaping the possibilities of electronic and experimental music. Together they explore songwriting, improvisation, and sonic experimentation.
This one promises to be something truly unique. Michael Rütten
Michael Rütten has spent decades building a reputation as one of Germany’s finest selectors. We’re very happy to welcome Michael Rütten. For decades, his radio shows, DJ sets, and events have connected audiences through an encyclopedic love of music that spans soul, jazz, funk, disco, pop, and beyond. Few selectors move between genres as naturally as he does, always guided by an instinct for bringing people together. We’re thrilled to have him closing Saturday night.
10 PM — Michael Rütten
Local soul ambassador selection.
SUNDAY, JULY 12TH
7 PM — Pablo Held Trio feat. Alexandra Ridout & Marta Wajdzik
We‘re very happy to welcome Pablo Held Trio alongside Alexandra Ridout and Marta Wajdzik. Pablo Held is one of Europe’s most celebrated jazz pianists, he has spent nearly twenty years expanding the language of the piano trio through fearless improvisation and boundless creativity. He invites on stage with him some of the most remarkable musicians from across Europe.
8:30 PM — Oddisee & Good Company
The Washington D.C.-born rapper, producer, and bandleader has built an international following through thoughtful lyricism, independent artistry, and a sound that seamlessly blends hip-hop, jazz, funk, soul, and Go-Go influences. His music is deeply personal while remaining sharply observant of the world around him, balancing reflection, groove, and powerful storytelling.
10 PM — Weller
This year we’re welcoming Weller to Holidays for the very first time. A beloved figure in Frankfurt’s music community, he has spent more than two decades uncovering connections between soul, jazz, funk, disco, house, and countless other sounds. His sets are less about genres and more about storytelling, taking listeners on journeys full of unexpected turns and joyful discoveries.
We can’t imagine a better guide to close out the weekend.
