Two of NYC's best Come to Philly!We're so excited to have Samantha Siegel & Rafał Pustelny in Philly for a day of workshops & dancing and their Jazz Attack debuts! Two of our biggest social dancing and performance inspirations, dancing all styles in NYC, you might recognize Samantha from her role in the SW!NG OUT show or practically any TV or film scene containing Lindy Hop, and you know and love Rafał from PILE, Swing Out New Hampshire, Lindy Focus, and more. When these two dance together it's nothing short of magic. Come experience their playful and creative energy in two workshop blocks that are sure to have you connecting and responding in new ways, and having a blast doing it. Then, grab dinner with your JA pals and stick around for a DJ'ed dance party in the evening, plus some surefire shenanigans to follow.
Level: Intermediate & Up
Afternoon workshops are not appropriate for beginners (join for the crash course at 8:30!). Students are expected to be comfortable with the movements in the first minute of the California Routine at 160bpm and full Shim Sham. Effectively, swingouts, mixing 6 & 8 socially, basic partner charleston, and basic solo jazz. We will begin workshops by asking you to do these things, and reserve the right to remove students who cannot do so.

Early Bird (thru Sunday 1/31): $49 general / $35 students

Should I come?
Let's just say that we got a last-minute opportunity to put this together on two weeks notice, and we didn't have a second thought. Samantha & Rafał are gifted dancers and teachers, and we know that they have so much to bring to the biggest little scene here in Philly. Trust us when we say... you're gonna love it.
Can I buy individual afternoon workshops?
For now we are only offering the afternoon workshops as a package. You may purchase a dance pass that just includes the evening crash course & dance party.
Are pay it forward or volunteer opportunities available?
