Jazz Jam

If you love live music, or love jazz, come to listen or come to jam! Everyone is welcome in this inspiring and creative, unique space!
About this Event

The Monthly Jazz Jam at Sleeping Cat is a community-centered live music program that supports local musicians, fosters artistic collaboration, and provides accessible cultural programming for the Bordentown community; supporting Sleeping Cat’s mission to present accessible, artist-driven programming that fosters community connection and creative expression.

Each event opens with a short set by a curated house band, establishing the musical tone and welcoming the audience. The remainder of the evening is a facilitated open jam, inviting local musicians to participate in a supportive, well-organized environment. A designated host manages sign-ups, pacing, and stage flow to ensure inclusivity and artistic quality.

This event is part of Sleeping Cat's vision to offer regular live musical programming, solidifying Sleeping Cat’s role as a cultural hub while nurturing local talent and encouraging intergenerational artistic exchange.
