Presented by the Fort Atkinson High School Bands
Join us for a wonderful evening of live jazz music at beautiful Barrie Park on Friday, June 19th from 7:00–9:00 PM! This FREE community concert will feature the Fort Atkinson High School Summer Jazz Band alongside special guest artist Eric Jacobson, trumpet.
Eric Jacobson is one of Wisconsin’s premier jazz musicians and educators, known for his soulful sound, expressive playing, and dynamic performances. Praised by All About Jazz for his “buttery tone” and creative artistry, Jacobson has performed with renowned artists and ensembles throughout the country while also serving as a leading jazz educator through organizations including the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Milwaukee Jazz Institute, and MYSO Jazz Studies.
This concert is designed to celebrate live music, community, and summer in Fort Atkinson. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends and enjoy an evening filled with great jazz under the summer sky at the Barrie Park Band Shell.
