As part of Wellington Jazz Festival, The Undercurrent presents Frida!
Frida, formed by Tristan Carter and John Rae, is an ensemble that explores the various traditional music of the violin. From Celtic glens to Scandinavian fjords with a special guest from Dundee in Scotland, Kevin Murray, alongside Kiwi jazz legends Ben Wilcock on piano and Patrick Bleakley on bass. Frida makes use of traditional music whilst adding a jazz twist in a foot-tapping extravaganza.
