Steve Buckley is a versatile jazz multi-instrumentalist, best known for his work on alto saxophone and penny whistle. As a founding member of the legendary British big band Loose Tubes, he has performed and recorded extensively with fellow bandmates Chris Batchelor and Django Bates, as well as other prominent figures in British jazz including John Taylor, Huw Warren, and Colin Towns.
Joined by Tom Unwin on piano and Marcus Vergette on double bass, Steve will present a programme featuring selections from the Great American Songbook alongside classic pieces from the wider jazz repertoire.
