Presenting something of a rare alchemy, the trio of Za Górami inhabit their own stylistic realm, encompassing multilingual European folk song, chamber music, improvisation and acoustic jazz. 'A 'supergroup' trio of mesmerising intensity' (London Jazz News), fusing folk idioms with free flowing interplay, their recent award-winning album was released by ECM Records last year to warm international praise. This event sees the Tithe Barn turned into an intimate, otherworldly space - "behind the mountains, beyond the woods", perhaps, to borrow the lyrics of their title song. With their latest new repertoire and an ever deepening identity, ancient stories and lore are breathed into new life, forging a space where past meets future in a love letter to the trees, mountains, birds, rain, moon, and power of the human spirit.
