Back by popular demand, the phenomenal 11-piece Brazilian big band, Gafieira Rio Miami, returns to Jazz at the J with lively samba percussion, a swinging horn section, and the stunning voice of Isa Duarte. Founded by Latin GRAMMY winning bassist Diogo Brown, the band blends samba, jazz, and soul, inspired by Rio de Janeiro’s ballroom dance music, “samba de gafieira.” Come and experience the joyful energy of Gafieira Rio Miami!
