NEL BEGLEY is a London-based jazz singer and songwriter, recognized for her captivating performances that have taken her across the UK and around the world. Her enchanting performances have delighted audiences at renowned venues and festivals, including the Manchester Jazz Festival, The Vortex, Pizza Express, Ronnie Scott’s, Leeds Jazz Festival, London Jazz Festival, and Jamboree Barcelona. Nel’s music has received significant endorsements from Arts Council England and the Northern Line Scheme, underscoring her influence in the vibrant music scene.
In 2025 Nel released her latest album SMALL FLAME. Recorded during the third trimester of her pregnancy, it showcases Begley’s artistry and resilience, offering listeners a glimpse into the creative process of a dedicated musician balancing the joys of motherhood and art.
Completing the trio for this performance is award winning pianist PAUL EDIS and virtuoso double bassist LUKE FOWLER.
