Jaylin Williams Street Naming Ceremony

The City of Fort Smith invites the community to a special street naming ceremony honoring NBA player Jaylin Williams on Thursday, July 9, at 6:00 p.m.
Earlier this year, the Fort Smith Board of Directors approved naming a portion of North 23rd Street adjacent to Northside High School as "Jaylin Williams Court" in recognition of Williams’ accomplishments, leadership, and the pride he continues to bring to his hometown.
A Northside High School graduate and former University of Arkansas standout, Williams was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2022 NBA Draft and has become known not only for his success on the court, but also for his commitment to giving back to the community.
City officials, community leaders, family members, friends, and fans will gather to celebrate this milestone and recognize a hometown athlete whose journey continues to inspire the next generation.
