Jasper Parkway Opening Soon! The much-anticipated Jasper Parkway will officially open to vehicular traffic on the afternoon of Saturday, April 5th. To celebrate this landmark occasion, the community is invited to participate in a free, informal fun run/walk the morning of April 5.
Before the cars take over, residents are encouraged to enjoy the new parkway on foot or by wheels. This family-friendly event welcomes runners, walkers, cyclists, and even leashed dogs. There is no registration required; simply bring your running or walking shoes, your bike, and your enthusiasm!

Time: 11am-1pm
The Jasper Parkway runs between State Route 69 and Santa Fe Loop Road. Parking for the event will be at the Glassford Summit Trailhead on Castle Drive. Parking is limited, and alternative modes of transportation, such as biking or walking, are encouraged.
In addition to the road opening ceremony, there will be live radio, a food truck, as well as the fun run/walk/bike. Additional details will be announced soon!
This event is a great opportunity for everyone to experience the Parkway before it opens to vehicles and to celebrate this milestone together.
