we’re carrying forward a dream.
Jason Schmidt believed in adventure, in community, and in bringing people together through challenge. Before his passing this year while racing, he was building this race for his hometown. Now, his family, friends, and the community are finishing what he started.
💛 Jason’s Adventure Bash (The JAB)
50% of proceeds go directly to a college fund for his three children—Harry, Sam, and Eleanor.
What to expect:
🧭 Choose-your-own-route adventure racing (strategy + teamwork)
🚴‍♂️ Bike, trek, paddle, and explore the hidden sides of “Soda City”
🌊 River tubing, urban checkpoints, and forested trails
Two options:
• Soda City Scramble (fun, family-friendly, 5-hour)
• Soda City Odyssey (12-hour endurance challenge)
