Join us at beautiful Harbison State Forest for an afternoon of discovery as you explore the fascinating world of trees and earn your Cadette Trees Badge! Guided by local experts, Cadettes will step into the role of environmental scientists—learning how to identify tree species, understand how forests function, and discover why trees are so important to our planet.Through hands‑on investigation, outdoor exploration, and real‑world insights, this workshop will strengthen observation skills, grow environmental knowledge, and deepen connections to the natural world. By the end of the day, Cadettes will head home with a completed badge—and a whole new appreciation for the forest around them.
🌱 Cost: $5 per Girl Scout Cadette or any girls age 11-14
🌲 Location: Harbison State Forest
👩👧 Not a drop‑off event: Adults must stay for the duration of the program. Individually registered girls with adults are welcome.
