Join us as we celebrate our new exhibit on the movie theaters and drive-ins that have been a part of our history for more than a century. Our display includes a series of wall panels that tell all about 15 venues for watching movies pictures of Wilkes since before the Amuzu Theatre opened in 1911.This program will provide an in-depth look at photos, newspaper articles, and movie advertisements. Learn about when new theaters opened and about fires that led to the closing of others.
This hour-long history presentation is included with your admission to tour the museum's historic properties.
$7 adults, $6 seniors/students/military, and free for museum members!
