Jason Christensen has been performing professionally since the age of 15, touring nationally with his band Scarlet Runner and earning recognition through top finishes in the National Jimi Hendrix Guitar Competition and Guitar Center’s Battle of the Blues. With Scarlet Runner, he released music through Grooveyard Records, further establishing his reputation as a serious blues artist.
Today, The Jason Christensen Trio delivers a high-energy blues and roots show built on tight
musicianship, expressive guitar work, and strong, commanding vocals. Backed by seasoned Midwest players; including musicians inducted into the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame and the Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
