Jason Beard is a co-founder and songwriter for Northern California’s
jamgrass favorites Poor Man’s Whiskey. Jason teams up with various singer/songwriters (as well as PMW members past and present) for an eclectic exploration of musical styles ranging from country/americana to psychedelic blues, jam, bluegrass, and more. An emphasis is
on original songwriting but the band also enjoys paying homage to their influences with
some fun and ever changing covers (in the styles of Poor Man’s Whiskey, Allman Brothers,
Pink Floyd, Phish, Railroad Earth, Grateful Dead, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, etc.).
