A little bit about Jarvis:

All Jarvis wines are produced from estate vineyards, located high above the city of Napa, in the beautifully rugged mountains between Mt. George and Milliken Canyon at the southeastern end of the Napa Valley. The vineyards are planted in gently sloping meadows one thousand feet above the valley floor. As the cool maritime air passes over the Carneros flats and begins flowing into the valley, it falls about seven degrees in temperature for the thousand feet of vertical rise. As such, our vineyards tend to be cooler by several degrees than the famous Carneros region! These cooler temperatures allow a long “hang time,” which permits a long, slow fruit maturation for maximum flavor and concentration at harvest.

A little about Host Christina Clark:

A glass of wine is an invitation to slow down and savor life’s
moments. I adopted this mantra early in my career, and for the past
20+ years, have harnessed its power to turn curious wine drinkers
into connoisseurs.

Driven by my thirst (literally and figuratively) for being a “grape to glass” expert, I’ve
worked, explored, & studied in prominent wine producing regions including Germany,
Australia, France, Italy, Spain, & Portugal. Domestically, my mastery lies in the wines of
Napa Valley, CA. Officially, I’m a Certified Specialist of Wine (Society of Wine Educators),
and a Level 2 Sommelier (International Somm. Guild). Both of which are just the fancy
credentials for my unofficial title of “WINE WIZARD”. Seriously, what beats a wizard?
At Jarvis, the winery cave & 1,300-acre estate are steeped in tradition, quality, and “white
glove” service. Pairing incredible culinary experiences with elite wine education at the most
notable restaurants, resorts, and country clubs nationwide, is truly rewarding work.

Parking: Due to limited spacing, we ask that you please do not park in the lot directly in front of Corkdorks’ store. Instead, you are welcome to park in either the lot beside the Corkdorks front lot, or in any open spot on the street. These parking options are free for attendees. Thank you for your cooperation.

All attendees will receive a $20 gift card to Corkdorks.

We do not charge a fee to attend or participate in any of our classroom events. However, because of the tremendous demand for our events, and because seating in our classroom is limited, we charge a nominal prepaid reservation fee to hold your place in the classroom. The amount of the reservation fee varies depending on the size, duration, and content of the event, but is non-refundable if you are unable to attend the event for any reason. If you prepay the reservation fee and attend the event, you will receive a Gift Card in an amount equal to the prepaid reservation fee, which can be redeemed for cash any time after the event or used to purchase merchandise in the store. No refunds. No Exceptions.
