Beginning with the precise arrangement of the tea room, participants carefully cleanse and purify the space, symbolizing the importance of harmony and respect. Learners begin with folding the silk napkin (fukusa) for purification and then get to partake in homemade Japanese sweets and matcha, devoted to each season.
