Japanese Tea ceremony

R eina Sakao, fourth generation of tea house in Japan and a second degree instructor in Urasenke tea association will offer a Japanese tea ceremony in collaboration with Mika Fleur located on College steet in Toronto.

H er mission is not only to showcase the tea culture but also the Japanese culture as a whole. She believes a zen moment is such a beautiful gift to offer. Creating an ocassion, celebrating the moment, taking care of oneself is what the Cha-No-Yu offers.

We are inviting you to join a Japanese tea ceremony and to discover two styles of tea ceremonies, Usucha (light matcha) and Koicha (thick matcha), desserts: Omogashi (fluffy sweet) and Higashi (light sweet).

The fee includes:

- Urasenke tea ceremony

- Koicha (thick matcha)

- Usucha (light matcha)

- Desserts (Omogashi and Higashi)

- Zen moment

- Zen philosophy/manners in a tea ceremony
