Japanese Matcha workshop 101 - Forget Me Not Coffee

Reina Sakao, known as Madame Matcha, is coming from Montreal to Toronto on November 21 for a special Japanese Matcha Workshop in collaboration with Forget Me Not Coffee!

Whether you’re curious or a matcha regular, come explore matcha with us! Have questions about matcha? Bring them along! No experience needed, and all supplies are provided.

What You'll Discover:

• Matcha 101: Learn what matcha is, how it’s produced, and how to choose and properly store it at home.
• Make your own matcha: Learn to prepare matcha using traditional Japanese methods.
• Taste and compare: Sample 4 types of matcha from Uji, Kyoto, each with its own unique flavour and notes.
• A sweet pairing: Enjoy Japanese wasanbon sweets (plant-based and gluten-free) traditionally served in tea ceremonies.

Sakao matcha products will be available for purchase after the workshop.

Come for the matcha, stay for the experience :). It is a great opportunity to explore both Matcha and Japanese culture together. We can’t wait to see you!
