About this Event
In class you’ll make a yuba and daikon, mille-feuille style nabe, koji infused pickles and enjoy carrot and wakame rice cooked in a donabe. All participants receive an autographed copy of her newest book Simply Donabe.
Class will be held in our pop-up studio on the 4th flr. of Macy's Ala Moana.
Naoko Takei Moore, is Japanese culinary expert and accomplished cookbook author. Her passion for nabe style cooking and sharing it delicious results has been featured in numerous media, including the New York Times and KQED. She is the owner of Toiro in Los Angeles a beloved store selling artisan made Japanese cookware and home accessories.
