Get ready for an unforgettable, FREE afternoon and evening of cultural connection and community celebration!Join us for an immersive Japanese Cultural Festival hosted by GOLD Educational Tours, Bunbury Senior High School P&C, and the South West Japan Festival, featuring:

- Japanese Curry – a comforting classic
- Pocky – sweet, crunchy Japanese dessert sticks
- Ramune – iconic Japanese fizzy drinks

🎎 Cultural Activities & Workshops
Explore traditional and fun Japanese experiences with:
- Calligraphy, Origami, and Japanese Games
- Taiko On Drumming Workshops (try your hand at traditional drumming!)
- Blossom Photo Booth area by South West Japan Festival (SWJF)
- Marquees hosted by International Students
🎤 Live Performances
Enjoy a rich program of cultural and musical entertainment:
🕓 4:00–4:30pm – Taiko On live drumming performance
🕔 5:00–6:00pm – Special showcase by visiting students from Higashi Fukuoka, Japan:
• “Waltzing Matilda” (keyboard & vocals)
• Soran Bushi Dance Performance - Japanese students (Okaido Fisherman Song)
• Taiko, vocals, and music

🎬 Outdoor Film Screening – 7:00pm onwards
Wind down the night with a Japanese film (TBC) screened under the stars. BYO picnic rug and settle in with friends and family.
