January, Salsa (Level 1 & 2) Sundays in Rahway

After our Salsa program on Sundays at The Watt, we have a complimentary social host which begins at 7:30pm. This is a great opportunity to practice the lessons learned in class.

The Salsa (Level 1) program is designed for participants who are new to dancing, or for those who have not yet developed proficiency in the Level 1 curriculum. Typically, participants spend approximately 5 months in the Level 1 program before developing the basic level knowledge and proficiency of the prerequisites required for Level 2.

The Salsa (Level 2) program is designed for participants who have developed a beginner-level proficiency in the Level 1 curriculum, which is considered a prerequisite for Level 2. The purpose of the Level 2 program is to advance proficiency in the basics and fundamentals, and to introduce new material for greater intricacy in turn patterns for social dancing. An assessment is required for entrance into Level 2.

Special Instruction

Welcome to Salsa ( on Sundays at The Watt Hotel by Hilton. We suggest that you wear shoes, flats, or sneakers with the least amount of traction. After our classes, we host a social at no additional cost. The social begins at 8pm. We encourage the participants in all of our classes to practice by social dancing, since it is the practical application of the knowledge learned in class. See you on the dance floor.
