January Pre-Fermenter Treat

Just like every month, we're inviting everyone excited about biotechnology in the Chicagoland area to come and mingle with other bioenthusiasts and bioprofessionals at our monthly Biotech Fermenter. But as a special treat for the new year, we reached out to Four Star Mushrooms, a company producing fungi at a state of the art facility in West Town. Four Star Mushrooms is building an integrated food ecosystem through the marriage of controlled-environment and regenerative agriculture. Their brand cultivates premium quality gourmet and functional mushrooms that we distribute directly to restaurants, hotels, caterers, clubs, and grocers across Chicagoland.

Join us for a treat before we have a night of networking at the wonderful Midwest Coast Brewing and go on a tour of a prime example of a biotechnology startup that's making waves in Chicagoland.

Please remember that while this is not the Fermenter itself, we want to keep the inclusive nature of the Fermenter.
