Mumbo Gumbo of Hobart serve up an aural feast of classic southern fried treats from the likes of Little Feat, Etta James, Bonnie Raitt, Lucky Peterson, Tedeschi/Trucks to home grown Renee Geyer and more. Mumbo Gumbo will move you, they'll groove you, and they'll take you down to the groove, then lift you back up to the hooks, tugging at your heart strings and puttin' the groove in your soul at every beat.
The legendary line-up of local talent are:
Vocals: Nicole McIntyre - Former BV for savage Garden 1997-1998 and local originals Gyspy/Roots band, Guerrilla Zingari.
Bass: Kevin Cooney - worked with Bonnie Raitt, Richard Clayton, Renee Geyer and more.
Drums: Konrad Park - plays in every band, near and far!
Keys: Dan Sulzberger - funkiest keys player in town, also of Southside Steppers fame.
Guitars: Simon Patterson - guitarist in "Hey Hey it's Saturday" band for ten years.
