Date Night DetailsAll engaged and married couples are invited to Jeanine Turner’s talk, Welcoming Conflict as an Opportunity for Learning: Navigating Your Approach to Conflict. Successful conflict can be a necessary and integral part of innovative and creative relationships. However, partners and families can find it difficult to create a space where constructive disagreement can lead to breakthrough opportunities. The first step towards this environment involves gaining a self-awareness about your own conflict style and developing a curiosity about how the rest of your family approaches conflict. This seminar will explore the five conflict styles that people bring to a conversation and provide strategies for addressing these styles and communicating.
When: Saturday, January 24 | 6:30 pm —Doors and childcare open at 6:00 pm
Where: Nativity School Cafeteria
Donation: There is a suggested donation to cover the speaker costs ans the food of $10 per person (rest is covered by the parish).
