January Clothes Swap
Schedule
Sat Jan 31 2026 at 01:00 pm to 03:00 pm
UTC+00:00Location
Union St | Sheffield, EN
Clothes Exchange | Β£5.74 adult swap | Β£3.65 kids & teens swaps
(includes booking fee)
This swap is on Saturday 31st January 1300-1500
How it Works:
Drop off/Bring a bag of clothes you no longer wear (IF you have items to donate this time)
Take a bag away!
Everyone is welcome.
Items must be clean and in good condition.
(If you wouldn't buy it from a charity shop, it's not appropriate to swap.)
The Repair Station will be open for advice and simple, quick repairs.
PLEASE NOTE THIS CHANGE:
If you wish to book a more detailed repair/restyle, you will need to discuss and agree this with the Repair Team. If they are able to take on the job, you pay a starting fee of Β£10, and leave your contact details with the Repairer and they will work out a sensible quote and approximate timescale for the job after the Swap has finished.
Please book a Repair Station slot to avoid disappointment.
Please keep items in need of repair separate from the Swap. If the issue is a zip one, it really helps to bring along a new zip of the right size :)
BE KIND. Everyone here is a human bean and all of CT are volunteers.
There will be a variety of garments displayed beautifully for you to peruse and choose from. One person's trash is another's treasure, so please keep comments body positive and helpful π
If you're wanting to look for both kids & adults clothes please buy a ticket for each. We want to keep our prices affordable and accessible so if you want to look through both the adults and kids clothes then pleeease buy the appropriate number of tickets affordable to you and support us to keep this wonderful project going.
Volunteers get fed and attend the swap for free. We'll get in touch via email the week of the event with all the extra details you need.
Note on accessibility: Union St has a lift but it does not stop on the floor which the adult clothes exchange is on. There are two flights of stairs with a banister on the right hand side to the room where the adult clothes exchange takes place. The lift does serve the kids exchange, the repair station and the disabled toilet. If you'd like to chat more about accessibility, the potential of a clothes parcel, and/or how we can make sure you aren't prevented from swapping too just get in touch **
