January AI on the Amstel Meetup – Gen AI and messy/outdated tech stacks

The AI on the Amstel meetup is a monthly technical meetup that features knowledgeable speakers discussing "in the weeds" AI topics and challenges. The January 2025 meetup will feature presentations and a panel of senior AI leaders from different organizations discussing how they deal with messy and/or outdated tech stacks. Messy and/or outdated tech stacks are often a huge problem that prevents companies from deploying new cutting-edge Gen AI solutions, so the panel will discuss how to overcome this challenge!
Here are the three groups that will take part in the presentations and the panel:

The Prosus AI team – Amsterdam-based Prosus is one of the largest technology investors and operators in the world. Over two billion customers use Prosus products and services. The firm has lots of experience with building an AI over complex tech stacks and deploying it to a massive customer base.
The ABN ARMO AI team – ABN AMRO is the third-largest bank in the Netherlands, and the firm has dealt with numerous tech stack-related challenges while building AI services. The bank will share their experiences and solutions.
To be announced third AI group – the third participant in the panel will be announced soon.
There will be networking and drinks after the panel. We are expecting a large turnout for this event, so this month's event will be held at ABN ARMO's auditorium space that fits up to 200 people. You must register via this Eventbrite page in order to be admitted into the event.
