Our January Afternoon Tea Menu consists of:
Scone Course: Emilie's Classic scone with Clotted Cream
Soup Course: Creamy Potato & Leek Soup
Tea Sandwich Course: Darjeeling Chicken Salad, Caramelized Leek & Pancetta Quiche, Cucumber with Mango-Thyme Butter
Dessert Course: Butter Rum Cake, Chocolate Chip & Walnut Blondie, Snowball Cookie
Tea Selections: Velvet Bliss & Mistletoe Grove
Price: $30.00 per person + tax = $31.80, Price does not include Gratuity (Gratuity may be cash only)
Please allow two hours to enjoy your afternoon with us. You are welcome to shop in the gift shop before or after your tea seating.
Reservations Required! Seating on Saturday is at 11:00 am & 2:00 pm. Sunday seating is 12 Noon & 3:00 pm. Seating is limited on Saturday to 16 persons per seating time. Sunday seating is limited to 29. Saturday seating is on the second floor of the cottage. Sunday seating is on both the first and second floors. Depending on availability, small groups will be seated with other parties. Please call 570-728-2324 to make your reservation.
Cancellation Policy: The cottage’s continued viability relies on reservations being honored by our customers, and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations. Accordingly, the following applies: 1. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for any booking that is cancelled, or if numbers are reduced without prior notice. 2. For all bookings, you must notify us of a cancellation or any changes to the number of guests at least 3 days prior to your booking. 3. Hydrangea Cottage reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $15.00 per person for any bookings changed or cancelled within this notice period. 4. The cancellation fee reflects the cost incurred by Hydrangea Cottage in terms of preparation, cost of food, and any lost revenue as a result of turning away other potential bookings. 5. We will notify you if any cancellation fee is applied. 6. Any bookings which fail to turn up without any prior notice will also incur a $15.00 per person fee. Thank you for your patronage and understanding. You may cancel by the Wednesday prior to your reservation date without penalty.
