January 30th: Open Mic Night at Symposium Books!

Join us at Symposium Books on January 30th from 7-9pm for Open Mic Night!

Do you have a special talent? a song you've been working on and want to workshop? Are you a writer, artist, person, comic, or performance artist? Well, have we got the perfect event for you!!!

It's Open Mic at Symposium! We offer a laid back and genuinely kind and welcoming third space for any sort of performer to show off their talent! All you need to do is sign up!

So, come one, come all! We're back at it and we need you to show why Providence is considered the creative capital! Too shy to perform? That's fine! Come anyway and join us in appreciating Providence's rich art scene with members of your book-loving community!

Sign-ups will start at 6:30 pm at Symposium Books (240 Westminster St., PVD). Slots fill up fast! First come, first served!

Each performer will have 10 minutes to show their favorite talent. To reiterate: anything is welcome--music, spoken word, poetry, fiction, performance art--we are merely your stage! We can't wait to see you!
