This month, we are welcoming back José Betancourt. José spoke at our September 2025 meeting about his photographic project "Cuba: Memories Revisited." For the January 2026 meeting, he will be following up with Part 2 of his talk which is titled "Tenerife: A Photographer's Experiment."José is a Professor of Art and Photography at The University of Alabama in Huntsville's Department of Art, Art History, and Design. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida and his Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography from the City University of New York - Hunter College.
As was Part 1, this presentation promises to be unique. We hope you can attend.
