Join us at Two Fellas for a very special evening with award-winning fiddler Janie Rothfield and Scottish singer, guitarist, and all-around entertainer Allan Carr on January 10.01 at 7:00 PM.
With over 40 years of performing and recording together, Janie and Allan bring a powerful and joyful blend of Celtic and Appalachian old-time music, rooted deeply in tradition while constantly expanding it with original songs and tunes. Their concerts weave a musical story from both sides of the Atlantic — featuring great singing, hot instrumentals, and plenty of humor (thanks in no small part to Allan’s charming Aberdeen brogue!).
Janie’s fiery and whimsical fiddling, clawhammer banjo, and mandola playing bridges American Old-Time and Celtic traditions with ease, while Allan’s inventive guitar style, bodhrán, and rich knowledge of Scottish ballads transport listeners straight across the ocean and back again.
