Celebrate the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen at a charming tea party in the beautiful UUSF Auditorium! This event is a wonderful way to honor Austen’s legacy and could even double as an early Mother’s Day gift.
Enjoy a catered tea service and lunchtime treats provided by Joni from the Rescue Cafe. We encourage guests to read one of Austen’s books or watch a film adaptation beforehand to spark fun discussions with your table mates. Dressing up in Regency-era attire is encouraged, but not required.
This event is open to anyone aged 12 and up. Spaces are limited and registration is required to secure your spot. You must fill out the registration form on our website to register (facebook registrations will not be honored): millicentlibrary.org/events-calendar.
PLEASE NOTE: This event will be held in the UUSF Auditorium, located across Walnut St. from the Library at 102 Green St in Fairhaven.
