SAVE THE DATE! Details to come. Picnic in style and then enjoy and afternoon of lawn dancing to live music at the beautiful Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanical Garden!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here are a few of the details:
• HISTORICAL MUSIC by The Westminster Society Players.
• HISTORICAL DANCING will be in the afternoon between 2pm–6pm (always subject to slight changes in the moment).
• All dancing is taught and called by our trained historical dance teachers. Dancing is on grass. Please wear sensible low-heel/flat shoes.
• The Los Angeles Arboretum will be open for our guests to visit all day. PICNICKING is allowed for ticketed event patrons on the lawn in front of the Queen Anne's Cottage. Come early (12pm or after) to picnic.
PLEASE NOTE: HTDS will be setting up the music and lawn dance area prior to noon. Anyone setting up early may need to move to accommodate the dancing area. We request you do not set up until that area is defined.
• No alcohol permitted in any public park.
• Bring only what you can carry as there will be NO CARTS AVAILABLE at this event to carry personal items. (REALLY!)
• HTDS will have water and lemonade available for our ticketed event patrons.
• We are guests of the Los Angeles Arboretum. Please be kind and obey all their rules and requests.
