The tradition of the Jane Austen Evening - tea, dancing and discourse in the spirit of the estimable Miss Austen, continues at the Pasadena Masonic Hall. There are two parts to the event, with two different tickets.
The first part, that begins at 4 PM, is a full afternoon tea.
The second part is the dancing, that runs from 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The dances are in the English Country Dance form in a style like that of Jane Austen's time.
DANCE CLASSES FOR THE JANE AUSTEN EVENING:
SUNDAY, JANUARY 14, 2024
Beginner/Intermediate Class: 1 PM to 5 PM
Admission: $10.00, Payable at the door (Cash or Check only)
SUNDAY, JANUARY 21, 2024
Advanced Class: 9:30 AM to 12 Noon
Beginner/Intermediate Class: 1 PM to 5 PM
Admission: $10.00 Half Day (either class); $15.00 Full Day (both classes), Payable at the door (Cash or Check only)

The Dance Classes are strongly recommended for everyone, and especially for anyone new to English Country Dancing. Your experience at The Jane Austen Evening, and that of your fellow dancers, will be much more enjoyable if you have a familiarity with the dances.
