Hello fellow members and friends of Piedmont Carolina Chapter of ATHS. Hope all of you are doing well.

As a reminder, our next chapter meeting will be on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 309 Randolph Street in Thomasville, NC. Lunch will be at 1:00 PM with the meeting beginning at 2:00 PM. It has been suggested that we have chili for lunch on that day and if we are going to do that, we will need some volunteers to cook chili and bring it. I have a personal commitment on the Saturday before our meeting and that may prevent me from cooking a pot. But, if we get enough volunteers to bring chili, we can do this. Please let me know if you might be able to help.

For this meeting, we have a special guest planning on attending and has agreed to be our guest speaker. It is Brayden Tucker who founded the website Dying Breed Diesels. Today, Dying Breed Diesels has over 175,000 followers. And as many of you know, Brayden has operated Tucker Equipment Company in Lisbon, OH for years, specializing in purchasing, restoring, and selling old trucks. The orange Astro I have in my garage came from Brayden. I’m sure you don’t want to miss this meeting, and I encourage you to share this with any of your old truck enthusiasts who can join us as well.

As always, I encourage any of you who can, to consider driving one of your old trucks to the meeting and parking it on the lot. I always think being around old trucks enhances the comradery that we all share.

I will have more on our meeting as we move closer. In the meanwhile, please let me know if you will be able to attend and especially if you might be able to bring chili.
