The City of Natchez, in coordination with the Mississippi Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration, is initiating the $24.57 million BUILD Grant Project, titled ”Transforming the Forks to Freedom Corridor.”
This project aims to improve transportation safety, enhance access to essential services and cultural destinations, and support economic opportunity through a more connected multimodal network.
As part of our community engagement efforts, the public is invited to attend this Open House event featuring a brief welcome by Mayor Dan Gibson and a series of exhibit stations staffed by consultant team members who will explain the project overview, goals and objectives.
Your perspective is important in helping us understand local priorities, opportunities, and potential community impacts. We welcome your feedback and encourage you to share any insights, concerns, or questions that may support the project’s development and alignment with community needs.
