James Yon is a Florida native touring headliner with over 20 years in the game. He spent five years as the house MC at Universal Studios Orlando. He hosted "The Lowdown" and "Funny Not Famous" on the Afrotainment channel on Xfinity Comcast. You can hear him weekly on iHeart Radio's "Real Laughs" and "Underoath with Jeff Kaufman" on Real Radio 104.1. He also co-hosts "Crying in My Car: A Podcast for Teachers."He was named Real Radio 104.1 Monster's Comedian of the Year in 2018, won the Orlando Improv's "Clash of the Comics" twice (2011, 2012), was a finalist for NBC's Stand Up for Diversity, and appeared on the FOX Comedy Club. He's shared stages with Joe Torry, Jimmy "JJ" Walker, Tom Rhodes, and Michael Winslow.
